Mahatma Junior college celebrated Community Service Day with great enthusiasm and a strong spirit of social responsibility. The programme aimed to celebrate empathy, cooperation, and active citizenship. On this occasion, various meaningful activities were organized for the children. Students, faculty, and staff collaborated with organizations, to offer their time, skills, and resources to support vulnerable populations and address the social issues.
This activity helps students gain real-world experience, develop critical thinking skills, and cultivate a sense of empathy and civic responsibility.
By engaging actively with their communities, colleges not only enrich the educational experience of their students but also fulfill their broader mission of advancing the public good and creating a more just and equitable society.
