Handwriting competition was conducted on 18th July 2026 for both First Year and Second Year D.El.Ed students. The aim of the competition was to promote neatness, clarity and good writing habits. It serves to build essential professional skills, enhance classroom clarity, and establish high pedagogical standards. Because future educators must write on blackboards daily, mastering legible, well-spaced, and properly aligned penmanship ensures that students can follow and copy notes without errors. This competition directly improves visual presentation skills, teaches trainees how legibility impacts grading fairness, and instills the calm concentration and fine motor control required for teaching. Ultimately, it prepares prospective teachers to model neatness and discipline, fostering better visual communication and academic habits in their future classrooms.
