On 29 November 2025, the Mahatma Junior College of Education, Chembur in association with the International Inner Wheel Club organized a timely and impactful awareness program focusing on Violence Against Women. This initiative was part of “Orange the World” campaign. The program aimed to raise awareness among students, educators, about the prevalence, causes, and impacts of violence against women. Educate them about physical, psychological, sexual, economic, and digital forms of abuse. Promote prevention strategies including legal support, empowerment, and respectful relationships. Participants left the event with heightened awareness, a deeper understanding of prevention strategies, and a shared sense of responsibility to advocate for safer communities.
Mahatma Junior College of Education and International Inner Wheel Club reaffirmed their commitment to continuing education and outreach efforts that support women’s rights and contribute to sustainable social change.
