Mahatma Education Society’s Mahatma Junior College of Education, Chembur is celebrating its 35 years of inception in 2021-22. The successful journey of moulding passionate teachers committed to the cause of nation building through these three and a half decades was made possible by the visionary leadership of the Chairman and CEO of Mahatma Education Society, Dr. K. M. Vasudevan Pillai sir and Secretary, MES & Co-founder of Pillai Group of Institutions, Dr. Daphne Pillai madam.

To mark this joyful occasion, we organise ELEKTRA, An Inter-Collegiate Video Making and Jingle Making Competition

Who can participate? – Students from Junior Colleges and Degree Colleges.

Instructions to participants

Video Making Competition

  1. The videos should be based on the theme “#Back to School, back to life”.
  2. The video should be of 3 to 5 minutes duration.
  3. The videos should be original and not copied from any other sources.
  4. There are no registration fees.
  5. Participants can give their names individually or in groups of two.
  6. Last date for sending entries is 5th November, 2021.
  7. Entries may be sent to mjce@mes.ac.in.
  8. All participants will receive e certificates.
  9. The first three winners will get cash prizes of Rs. 1,000/-, Rs. 750/- and Rs. 500/- respectively.
  10. The winners will be intimated through email by the third week of November.

Just-a-Minute. Jingles Making Competition

  1. The jingles may be in English, Hindi or Marathi.
  2. The jingles should be of one minute duration.
  3. The jingles should be original and not copied from any other sources.
  4. The jingles should be based on any one of the topics
    • Make this world a better place
    • India @ 75
    • Empowerment through education
  5. There are no registration fees
  6. Last date for sending entries is 5th November, 2021.
  7. Entries may be sent to mjce@mes.ac.in.
  8. All participants will receive e certificates.
  9. The first three winners will get cash prizes of Rs. 1,000/-, Rs. 750/- and Rs. 500/- respectively.
  10. The winners will be intimated through email by the third week of November.
