The Student Council Election for the F.Y. D.El.Ed. students was conducted with great enthusiasm and democratic spirit at Mahatma Junior College of Education. The election provided an opportunity for students to actively participate in the decision-making process and showcase their leadership skills. The program began with an orientation session where the importance of the Student Council and its role in representing the voice of students was explained. Interested candidates confidently presented their manifestos and ideas, highlighting their vision for academic, cultural, and social activities. The election process was carried out in a fair and transparent manner, following democratic procedures. Students cast their votes to elect representatives for various posts, ensuring that every student’s voice was heard. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as the results were announced, and the newly elected council members took their oath to work responsibly for the welfare of their peers and the institution. The event not only nurtured leadership and responsibility but also gave students hands-on experience of the democratic values of participation, equality, and responsibility.
