Gudi Padwa is a spring festival which marks the New Year celebration for Maharastrians. It is celebrated on the first day of the Chaitra month according to the lunisolar Hindu calendar in Maharashtra and Konkan regions. This festival has a lot of importance and is a notable one.
Mahatma Junior college of Education and Research, Chembur celebrated Gudi Padwa on 21st March, 2023 by erecting the Gudi followed by worshiping it. The Gudi was decorated with colourful garlands. A speech briefing the students about this festival and it’s importance was delivered by the teachers and our respected principal.
