Mahatma Junior college of Education and research believes that “The science of today is the technology of tomorrow” to commemorate the discovery of the Raman Effect by the Indian physicist, Dr. Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman on the same day in the year 1928.

Marathi Bhasha Diwas is commemorated in honour of the Marathi language and is celebrated on 27th February. It is the birth anniversary of Dnyanpeeth award winner late poet V. V. Shirwadkar who is also known as Kusumagraj.

This year was special as the student and teachers celebrated these days amongst school children during their intership training. The student teachers held various competitions on science day and Marathi bhasha Diwas and the school children participated with full enthusiasm and zeal.
